"Know Your Shrooms" Mycology Chart, Miscellaneous Perler Bead Sprites

Update: better picture of the mycology chart.

Time to play catchey uppy. Not having my own Internet connection funked me up for a few days. I missed all my favorite shows, couldn't post worth a shit, and basically had no option but to spend my time watching and rewatching Arrested Development (ok, that was voluntary) and making bead sprites. The above is a piece that I did in exchange for a Flickr Pro account and some TribalGear (
click here to check it out). The frame is a custom border I based loosely on the Whomps from Super Mario World. The mushrooms themselves are 8 bit versions of all the Mario mushrooms, from Super Mario Brothers, the New Super Mario Brothers for DS, and Super Mario Galaxy. Special thanks to Sprite Stitch and Phluadu.

Its not as provocative as my "Eat Me" piece but I do love the mycology chart concept, and the frame was exactly what I was going for. Gives it a very antique, cross stitch kind of feel.

I noticed that my pictures with multiple sprites are the most clicked and most popular on my various photo sharing profiles, so I made another. Regular readers are no doubt familar with my glass top coffee table/perpetually trashed workspace. These snaps were taken on my *other* one, or as I like to call it, my medium sized coke dealer's table.

A fairy from Legend of Zelda Link To The Past. A Flickr user suggested I make a bottle and a net, too. You can see a sad little piece of a broken sprite in the bead bucket below. *cry*

Cute lil thought bubbles. I think these are my favorites. I want to glue on some magnet strips and slap 'em on the fridge.

Some Super Mario World enemy Perler bead sprites.

This was an original sprite created by our affiliate, the talented and lovely Pixlberry. I love that there's a sprite for the Super Mario Sunshine sprite now!

Alrighty now yous all caught up. Now I needs to get caught up. A writin' I shall go!
