This Drink Is Not A Lie

So I've been using this new service called Tynt, which allows me to track all the copied and pasted content that's been taken from the site. According to my stats, the hootch recipes I put up here are often the most popular, accounting for almost all the text ripped from Gamer Grrlz and slathered elsewhere. You alcoholics you.

These two recipes come way of a group of masters students at the IT University of Copenhagen. I've reported on these boozehounds before (this is not the first time they've had a video game/alcohol themed get together), but I must have missed that they did a Portal themed night last year. Or, I just ignored it because I wasn't familiar with it, like I do with multi-syllable words and indoor plumbing. Just kidding, I'm totally housebroken.

This Drink Is Not A Lie:

Glass:
Rocks Glass

Garnish:
Strawberry Slices
Shaken
  • 2 cl Whiskey
  • 1 cl kahlua
  • 1 cl Bols Brown Cacao
  • 1 cl Cherry Liqueur
  • 1 cl Bols Strawberry
  • Top Up with Double Heavy Cream
Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Rocks glass. Top up with cream

However, This Drink Is A Lie:

Glass:
Chilled Martini Glass

Garnish:
As much as possible
  • Cheap beer
Directions:
Start getting a Martini glass. Put some Fancy garnish on it. Get a cheap beer from the fridge. Pour it into the fancy-made glass while the customer sees it and serve. Tell the Costumer that of course there is beer in it, as the drink was a lie.

Those look delicious, and the "tynt" tip is interesting too, thanx.

Yeah you may want to look into it. When someone copies text from your site, when they use it somewhere else, it automatically links back to you!
