The Vegetable Ocarina Guy!

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for winded instruments, especially ocarinas. Both because I was band nerd (or am, rather. That kind of stigma follows you for life) and because I’m a big fan of Legends of Zelda. So of course I adore the “ocarina vegetable dude”, a Japanese YouTube enthusiast who makes instruments out of common vegetables and posts videos of his creations. The songs aren’t anything too complicated but its kitsch value is through the roof, so we’ll let that shit slide. ‘Sides, what could be better than having a instrument that doubles as dinner? Its just a win/win situation.

Don’t let the crazy eyes stop you from watching. He just plays like that. It makes him blow harder, or something… I don’t know the physics of it, I just know its amusing as fuck:

Legends Of Zelda Majora’s Mask Masks

So far we have (from L to R) the Postman’s Hat, Blast Mask, Stone Mask, Great Fairy’s Mask, Deku Mask, Keaton Mask, Bremen Mask, Bunny Hood, Don Gero’s Mask, Mask of Scents, Goron Mask, Mask of Truth, Zora Mask, Kamaro Mask, Garo Mask, and Captain’s Hat. All done in Perler beads as an homage to Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask. What do you think, LOZ lovers?

Ocarina iPhone App

It looks cool, but so far it will neither bring rain, summon Epona, nor teleport you over Hyrule. Lame. Oh well. There’s always huffin’ paint while playin’ Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time! Its good to use your imagination.

Legends of Zelda Resident Evil IV Mod

What could possibly be better than Legend of Zelda? Legend of Zelda on massive gun-induced steroids. Take a look at the PC Legend of Zelda and Resident Evil IV mod. Yeah, you could mess around with that fairy bow and hookshot. Or, you could just blast that Gibdos face off. Who needs to be subtle and delicate when you got a sniper rifle and the memory of fresh zombie blood on your mind. Mmmm. Zombie brains.

My Big Bad Perler Bead Halloween Project

Well here’s something I’ve been working on. As you can see above there are Poes, Keese, and Stalfos from the first two Legend of Zelda games, some Castlevania stuff, and oh look, even a Zybat!

Yeah I wanted kids to come to my front door this year. I have a feeling I’ll only be attacting 30 something nerds in their nasty furry costumes looking for a free sugar fix.

Princess Zelda Has Been Kidnapped!

LOL I’m childishly tempted to either visit, or (in the event that it does not exist) found, that browser bar’s “Muahaha.com”. Unsure what “picstures” are but I’m sure I’ll find out once I get there.
