Free Portal 2 Level Editor Coming Soon

Valve will soon be letting us play robo God with some upcoming free Portal 2 DLC. Entitled “Perpetual Testing Initiative”, Valve says it’ll be ready for download on May 8. With it you will be able to play new Portal 2 puzzles of your own making, sharing your creations through the newly minted Steam Workshop.

Will you be making some test chambers of your own?

Well my shoulder demons, how was your Friday night? I spent mine playing Portal 2 co-op and eating so much pork I’m now more pig than human. Seriously, straight up, just eating carnitas straight out of the cast iron skillet with a fork. A more appropriate animal flesh I could not have possibly chosen. In other words, oink.

I got in a few co-op Portal 2 achievements though, so that was good.

The surprise was a lie.

Prepare to hate me. I only buckled down and finished Portal 2 a few weeks ago. I know, I know. On the bright side of things, that means posting these screen shots are well past the spoiler stage. If you haven’t played/finished yet, you’re just as bad as me. Which is to say, terrible.

Feels nice tying up all these loose ends, gaming-wise. I hate having an unfinished or unplayed game. On to finish up the multiplayer achievements!

Add GLaDOS To Your Garmin

From your heart to his ears. Reddit user GLaDOS_Garmin_Thrwwy has finally done the inevitable, and the evil: the world now has Garmin-compatible GLaDOS sound files. Yes, you can now be bossed around in your car by the mechanical mistress or murder herself, provided you follow the links from Reddit. Or just live vicariously through YouTube.

Sigh…look at me, talking…when there’s all this driving to do…

More Testing To Be Done With New Portal 2 DLC, Now Available

After the promise of a June, and then “summer” and then “mid September” release, Portal 2 DLC chapter Peer Review has finally arrived. This co-op content features new challenges for P-Body and Atlus as they face the wrath of GlaDOS once again. A challenge mode has also been added to single and multiplayer, with leaderboards to compare to scores with the community and your friends.

To celebrate this momentous occasion (read: apologize for “Valve time”), Portal 2 is now 50% off on Steam through Thursday, 4 PM PST. Do the science math—that’s Portal 2 for $15!

That is a cake. And you’re pretty much an asshole if you even think about eating it.
