Capcom Officially Announces Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
Now that evil has taken residence on the 3DS, you’d think Capcom would be focusing on their upcoming Nintendo endeavors, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Resident Evil: Revelations. Lucky for us, that’s dead wrong, as Capcom has announced a new title coming to Xbox 360, PC, and Playstation 3, called Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Plays take on the role of an Umbrella Security Services soldier as they deal with the disaster at post-break out Raccoon City.
Accompanying this news is a tidbit on the 3DS Resident Evil titles. Capcom will be shipping Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D with a demo of Resident Evil: Revelations, allowing a sneak peek at the first all original RE 3DS title.
Expect Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City this upcoming winter.
Check out Resident Evil 4’s facelift, comparison shots courtesy of Capcom. As you can see, the textures are much improved. I could swear I just put my glasses on.
Resident Evil 4 HD is coming to XBLA and PSN sometime this upcoming fall.
Resident Evil 4 And Resident Evil Code: Veronica X Coming To High Def
It’s almost Resident Evil’s 15th anniversary, and Capcom has decided they’re bringing us a double dose of Redfield to celebrate. Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, are going to be re-released in high definition! Due out on Xbox 360 and PS3, both are expected as downloadable titles this upcoming fall.

Seattle Fans Come Out And Cosplay PAX 2010
I’ve spent a good portion of PAX thus far with face in a camera so I thought I’d show you some of my handiwork. Never a crowd to miss a chance to cosplay, Seattle fans so far have brought a great variety of costumes to the event. Top image of course goes to the awesome Vault 101 cosplay chick, who was hanging out at the Bethesda booth.
Not a bad Majora’s Mask replica! I just wanted to *yoink*. The gal who was carrying it wisely chose to not put it on.
Ness is a stoner, who knew. There were a lot of guys walking around dressed as Ness, though. Easily done.
This guy has half the costume on every waking moment of his life. The likeness is uncanny.
Great Mario group, but it seemed tedious trailing around together in the crowded PAX aisles! I really thought Luigi, Mario, and Peach should have run around being chased by Blooper and Lakitu.
Love love love this Resident Evil cosplay. Plus this lady was so friendly and enthusiastic. It was refreshing to see women who dressed up for the love of the game.
I think these gals might have been from the official PopCap booth or something, but I’m not sure. Cute!

As this guy and I agreed, no one does enough fire power Mario cosplay. Luckily he was there to fill the void, and even had a fire flower to go with it.
